Make Your Mark – Saturday

Jan 14, 2017 to Jan 14, 2017

It’s a better way to meet new people… Guaranteed.

The New Year is a perfect time to kickstart your good deeds for 2017, and we’re starting our MLK Service Weekend Celebration on Saturday, January 14th. Come Make Your Mark on Atlanta with 6 different service projects to choose from in the morning – W.D. Thomson Park, Concrete Jungle, Mad Housers, Urban Sprout Farm, Atlanta Hospital Hospitality House and Flat Rock Cemetery. After we finish volunteering, meet the group for lunch, drinks, and games (they even have indoor bocce!) at Torched Hop Brewery in Midtown (located on Ponce de Leon Ave).

Here’s how it works:

  1. Reserve your spot for the project below – see descriptions for each
  2. Commit to showing up at the scheduled time – project start between 9:30am-10am
  3. If you’re feeling social, join us for lunch at Torched Hop
  4. Tell your friends to join you, or come alone and meet new people. Either way, you’ll have a blast
  5. We’ll send you information in a separate email a few days before the event, so stay tuned

Impact areas: Gardening, Homelessness, Parks, Urban Farming

Please only register if you know you can attend, as spots are limited and we do not like to disappoint our Community Partners with no-shows. If your plans change after you sign up, we ask that you let us know in advance so we can fill your spot. Thanks!
