Gardens, Parks & Recreation

May 21, 2016 : 10:00

It’s a better way to meet new people… Guaranteed.

Join us for our only workday in May, and choose from three outdoor projects to get your hands dirty for a good cause: Urban Sprout Farms, Global Growers and Whittier Mill Park. After the hard work is done in the morning, we’ll head to Tijuana Garage for lunch and drinks as a big crew to pay off our good deeds. It will make your Saturday morning very productive!

Here’s how it works:

  1. Reserve your spot for the projects below (you must register to attend, since space is limited)
  2. Commit to showing up at the scheduled time to serve these local nonprofits
  3. If you’re feeling social, stick around for food or a drink after we finish – Tijuana Garage in Little 5 Points
  4. Tell your friends to join you, or come alone and meet new people. Either way, you’ll have a blast.
  5. We’ll send you information in a separate email a few days before the event, so stay tuned for that

Impact areas: Gardening, Parks, Refugees, Urban Farming

Please only register if you know you can attend, as spots are limited and we do not like to disappoint our Community Partners with no-shows. If your plans change after you sign up, we ask that you let us know in advance so we can fill your spot. Thanks!
