CB ATL: Let’s Build Furniture!
Calling all furniture makers and aspiring DIY-ers looking to do some good!
We’re excited to partner with the Furniture Bank for a fun-filled morning with a new type of volunteering – building tables and dressers for the community!
We’ll gather at 9am in their warehouse, and our group will volunteer until around noon. In small groups, we will be working together to assemble furniture that will be donated to low-income families in need this season. No prior experience building is necessary; just come ready to learn and work with your fellow volunteers at something new.
- Share with friends or come alone. Either way, you’ll have a great time guaranteed.
- A few days before the event, we will send out important details like when, where, and what to bring
- Show up ready to have fun and DIG Community with like-minded folks
How to Register
The Furniture Bank requests a total $400 donation for this experience with a group of 10 people, all of which covers supplies and staff time to support their mission. Therefore, we’re asking volunteers to donate ~$40/person if you’re able, in order to make this project possible.
