On March 7th, Community Bucket will host a food drive in partnership with Central Texas Food Bank. We serve. We socialize. It’s that simple.

Austin’s greatest conglomeration, SXSW, is upon us! So, in the spirit of collection and connection, Community Bucket is back this month with a good old fashioned food drive.

Here’s what to expect Saturday, March 7th…

SERVE & SOCIALIZE (10:30AM – 1:30PM):

Come mix and mingle with Austin’s finest citizens while giving back to a local nonprofit. Open House Austin is welcoming us into their beautiful space where we will be collecting imperishables and cash donations for Central Texas Food Bank.

Our favorite caffeine suppliers, Levercraft Coffee, will be on-site along with our friends at Trill Tacos to satisfy your refreshment needs.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Attend & Donate:

Reserve your spot to attend the event on March 7th – bring canned foods with you, or make a cash/credit donation on-site and we will purchase food on your behalf.

Donate:

Can’t make it on the 7th? No problem! Donate via Eventbrite (FYI, donations also include EB fees) or Venmo our CB ATX lead, Ian, @ian-grossman.

All donations will be used to purchase food for Central Texas Food Bank. Show up alone, or come with friends. Either way, you’ll have a blast!

FOOD DONATION NEEDS

• Peanut Butter
• Canned Chicken Breast or Tuna
• Canned Low Sodium Vegetables
• Canned Fruit in its own Juice (no added sugar, please!)
• Dry Pinto Beans
• Brown Rice
• Non-Fat Dry Milk Powder
• 100% Whole Grain Cereal (leave those sugary favorites on the shelf)
