Love Your City started five years ago in Atlanta, to give back in a meaningful way and celebrate community. This year, LYC events will be in Atlanta, Austin and Denver, so you’ll be part of something big!
Here’s how it works…
We will kick-off the event on Wednesday, February 12th at Improper City. You can reserve your spot and donate to help purchase supplies for our project activities (if we have leftover funds they will help support future Community Bucket Denver volunteer programs).
Gather your friends, neighbors, and co-workers or come alone and meet new people. Either way, you’ll have a great time guaranteed.
Can’t make it to Improper City but still want to contribute? You can make a donation to help cover supply costs!
Serve & Socialize (5:30-8:00PM):
We will have four service stations, all supporting different nonprofits, taking place simultaneously. Choose one or hop around, it’s up to you!
Activities Include:
- Decorating Valentine’s Day cards for Kavod Senior Life
- Decorating food delivery bags for Project Angel Heart
- Making fleece dog toys for Max Fund
- Assembling laundry kits for The Denver Rescue Mission
During activities, you are welcome to grab drinks and/or food (self-pay). Improper City will be serving libations and a food truck will be on-site to ease your hunger pangs.
You will also have a chance to win dope prizes during our raffle!
