CB ATL: Earth Day Weekend Cleanup
About the event
Ready to take the first step in protecting our planet this Earth Day? There’s no better way to contribute to a cleaner and healthier community than by volunteering to tackle waste around the neighborhood.
Teams will be split across key areas around the Grove Park and surrounding neighborhoods. After the event, we will meet back up at 1566 Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy for a block party celebrating the day and one another.
What will volunteers do?
Volunteers will be split up throughout the neighborhood and armed with gloves, trash pickers, reflective vests and 2-3 bags.
What will volunteers need to bring or wear?
Comfy shoes, pants to the ankle, sunblock and bug spray suggested.
What should volunteers know about the location?
We will park at the YMCA, and walk over to start at 1566 Donald Lee Hollowell to be split in to groups and be sent out throughout the neighborhood. There will also be a block party after the event at 1566 after the cleanup.
