Thank You For Volunteering
Thank you for choosing to join us as we return to a post-pandemic reality. Although we will be taking reasonable precautions to keep all volunteers safe, there is always some inherent risk in any in-person gathering. We will do our best to ensure a great experience for everyone, and to deliver on the promise of Service Made Social!

CB ATL: FeedATL Summer Series Part III
FeedATL is a weekly program taking place all Summer long, made possible by our partnership with the Food Well Alliance. We will be working with a hand-picked cohort of urban farmers who work hard everyday to bolster Atlanta’s local food ecosystem.
For Part 3, we will return to Metro Atlanta Urban Farm in College Park, this time for a Thursday evening wind-down project. You’ll learn about the important work this organization is doing to supply healthy and fresh food to local residents, you’ll get your hands dirty in the gardens, and you’ll get to meet like-minded folks in a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere.
For the service part…
For the first year ever, MAUF’s lead farmer is creating a full-blown Crop Maze to help build out opportunities for local youth education and engagement throughout the farming season. Our group will continue helping with various tasks to construct this maze, along with other crop maintenance that’s needed.
We’ll start working at 5pm, but if you need to come later due to traffic/work that’s OK. We’ll go until around 8pm, so come when you can.
For the social part…
When we finish, we’ll head down the street to Brake Pad for some hard-earned dinner and drinks on the patio. Your first round is on us, to thank you for your hard work!
