Social distancing won’t stop us from serving. Isolation shouldn’t mean feeling alone. Join our initiative from July – October to give back, connect with your tech peers, and impact where you live!

HOW IT WORKS

4 Months of Tech Gives Back

COVID-19 has created a challenging time for everyone and forced us to do what startups do best – pivot.

As a result of working remotely, tech companies and startup teams like yours are seeking ways to maintain a sense of culture while contributing toward the greater good. In response, Community Bucket has created four months of Tech Gives Back programming from July – October.

We will offer remote volunteer opportunities, along with fun networking and social opportunities for team building. Rally your team and be part of a city-wide effort to unite the tech and startup ecosystem!

September PROGRAMMING

OUR PARTNER: HELPING MAMAS

Helping Mamas is the baby supply bank for Georgia. They connect helping mamas to mamas needing help.

Supplies will support mothers and their babies in the metro Atlanta area who need access to essential baby supplies. You have a choice between eight different kits ranging from newborn to foster care.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

1. Read through the Helping Mamas At Home Toolkit PDF. If you don’t have time to put together a kit you can also order supplies from Helping Mamas’ Amazon wishlist which will ship directly to them.

2. Decide what type of kit(s) you would like to build and order the appropriate supplies based on how many kits you would like to make.

3. Drop-off your kits to Helping Mamas:

4487 Park Drive Suite A1
Norcross, GA 30093

4. Share your kit creation on social media using the tags and hashtags:

– Facebook: @helpingmamas @communitybucket

– Instagram: @helpingmamas @communitybucket

– #TechGivesBack #HelpingMamas

5. Report to your team lead about what kits you created or Amazon wishlist supplies you purchased for Helping Mamas.
